I got the trade in text! Which I don’t have a trade in. So not sure why even got the text. Does that mean I’m getting closer?!?!

Getting there! We have the same config and I've been tagging you. I'm still sitting at EDD Aug. 28-Sept. 11 with no VIN.
Got pushed back to EDD of Nov 2022 - Feb 2023. Hopefully this isn't the case. Looks like a few of you had this happen as well and it updated back to close to the last EDD, so I'll just go with the flow

Finally got a text to schedule delivery - this Friday!! yay
Just got texted my VIN 2 hours ago. Completely out of the blue. New EDD is 08/16-08/22.

Update :
I was told by my SA that this is a normal process (not getting VIN even in the delivery window). Also, the SA confirmed that the delivery will be made within next 2 weeks (by Aug.28) as well as it will usually only take a couple days for the vehicle to arrive once it is assigned to the account.

Is it fine to change from cash to finance before vin comes ? SA called and said get ready for financing

I switched mine on Saturday from cash to financing. Everything stayed the same so I believe it will be fine.
As of this morning my EDD was 10/28 - 12-9 but like 10 mins ago I got a text from the SA saying my VIN was assigned and my new EDD was 8/15 - 8/19.
Unfortunately starting yesterday, I’ll be on vacation out of state for the next two weeks. I alerted the SA to this but haven’t heard back yet. Hopefully I’m not penalized or screwed for such a dramatic shift in the situation. What happens next?

I'm happy that apparently alot of the EDD's got pushed WAY up today but I am scrambling right now with the wife to get things in order.
