Your issue is that you are using it as an ICE car - long drive, as few stops as possible. That's not the best way or the quickest way to complete a long drive in almost any EV

EVs do require a bit of a change in mindset—especially with their current range and paucity of chargers. They require a little bit of planning that you wouldn't need in an ICE car, but in my experience, that rarely makes them slower or more inconvenient. I find ABRP really helpful.

Its not just when but what. I find the trick is to avoid anything with caffeine in it since it is a diuretic.
