I'm down in San Diego, and it sounds like the closure of the I5 and I15 have made it all but impossible to get my M3 delivered before 1 January. No VIN yet, and scheduled for 30 December as of now.

at least you're scheduled... lol. I don't have anything at all except that first text saying I'll get a text later in life for delivery scheduling... ordered 11/16 in San Diego...

same here. Delivery has been pushed 3 times for me at this point. No vin. I’ve essentially given up and accepted the fact that I’ll likely have to cancel on the 31st.

Yeah... especially since JakeMoore just ordered the same car as me (minus FSD for me) and has a VIN and delivery date already... lol. I can't even.......

Talked over the phone.....they are trying to match our car specs to what rolls in and is given to them,,,,that's why they pushed back to Dec 31st. So, they said could line up in two days or so. Scheduled time in Costa Mesa is 2:30 Dec 31

Haven't received a VIN yet. Called Tesla sales support who said that at this point if you don't have a VIN assigned, it means that the likelihood of receiving the vehicle before year end is very low. I needed a new car as I am moving to the burbs in Jan first week, and my wife and I, need our own cars. Guess I'll have to postpone my electric dreams for now and go with an old fashioned ICE car :(

first of all im so sorry for the october orders that dont even have VINS, i honestly do not know how that is possible.

i just got a text saying my delivery is pushed from 12/29 to 12/31 at 5 pm. i do not understand how this company is still standing. i do notunderstand how this company is not giving incentives for broken promises. the stock should burn in hell not raise to the heavens. i am so upset i cannot believe it.

at least give a $2,000 discount if the car is not delivered. they will never do that. but cmon we are your customers...

Lol! It isn’t your fault XD but yeah it’s just a joke how Tesla is handling logistics, it’s not like it’s their first year selling cars.

I didn’t get the dreaded phone call yet from Tesla saying they can’t meet EOY, so........ I might just drive to the delivery center tomorrow and ask what the heck is going on and ask if I will get a car or not..... they should be able to look around and tell me if there’s a car for me... 3 days to go...

Simple answer is to just cancel the order, at least they’re giving back our $100 deposits... and see if the price drops. My trade in will drop in value too though, but that’s life...at least there’s just 3 more days until I finally accept the fact that Tesla fails in fulfilling their promises to their customers... for now, I will keep on waiting for a miracle!

I had a question - are folks who ordered in October and haven't received a VIN, using Tesla financing? One of the customer support staff that is spoke to said that I am not assigned a VIN since I haven't completed the financing formalities on the online order portal, and that given the timelines, it would be difficult for a bank to meet the cutoff.

I feel the same way - i can't get a bank to finance my purchase if I don't have a VIN. So at this point it feels that they are BS-ing. Oh well!

I'm beyond pissed. All the promises out the window....lost 1,800 bucks. Wavering in my goal to get this....

that really sucks! Did you have a VIN assigned to you? When did you place your order?

I ordered Oct 19, have a VIN but still waiting to take delivery. I have a tentative appointment in Costa Mesa for Dec 30 at 6:30pm. Still waiting to get confirmation.

M3 AWD W/W 19” FSD.

My M3 was to be delivered this afternoon. I just got a call from the delivery specialist saying that my "car is not ready and wouldn't be ready until early 2020". I told him I had a 2pm delivery appointment for TODAY.

I checked my order page 2 days ago and there was a VIN number but today when I went to double-check the VIN number is now gone..

The Sales Advisor is NOT picking up the phone and I can't get an answer on WTF is going on. I was assured 4 times that I would have delivery of this car before EOY to hit the Tax Incentives. I feel like they just pulled a Bait and Switch on me.

Well we just received the dreaded message that our 3 will not be delivered before end of year notwithstanding the “guarantee”. This is our 5th Tesla purchase. While the cars are always improving, the customer service has gone from the absolute best to near the bottom. Perhaps it is a blessing in disguise as I was leery of the end of the year delivery quality.
Just going to wait it out.

Basically they said...all the cars they have in inventory have been assigned...no more new inventory as of DEC 30....Date pushed back until Jan 6. Wanted me to say OK to other paint job (wanted white) and 19 inch wheels. I'm OK with blue, gray, but not the 19inch wheels...

SO....(and this is for all of you)...grab a cold one and don't worry about it. We (I) lost the 1,800 bucks.....not the end of the world. If they call before DEC 31 midnight ....great....if not...oh well. I had to reset myself and just calm down. My feeling is that if you did not get the car by now, you (We) are looking at END of January or Feb. Be blessed with health, family and stay chill. Funny, if the company would have told the REAL truth in the first place this would be all good. BUT, many people are ANGRY....

Tesla called: offered me black M3 with white interior. $2000 more. I said no.....so it looks like they are going through cars that people did not or could not pick up. This through the Costa Mesa Center.....

Stay by your phone and hope......
