Hey! Just to give you some insight, you can see my recent comments above and I am picking up my car in Charlotte next week. You can follow my advice when calling them to get more info on your car. Like I said, I’ve been nice to them and they’ve been great to work with.
It seems if you are lucky enough to get assigned a VIN (by the factory gods) the Tesla staff can be helpful. If you have no VIN assigned you are SOL and told nothing.

My estimate was 4-6 weeks. I'm on week 9 right now with no VIN assigned.

Yeah man, looking at your data it seems you’re the 1% of customers. Ordering an SR+ from Canada seems to be the two factors that extremely randomize your delivery time and most people end of waiting in either scenario, let alone both. That being said, I’m sorry. I have been extremely anxious for these 3 weeks so I’m sure you’re not having fun. Only advice I can offer is that there should be a person assigned a level above your delivery or service center. For America, I have a contact that works over the SE region centers. Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and New Orleans. If you can some how get in contact with your regional advisor he/she should have answers. This info was given to me by my bank because they deal with a lot of Tesla orders. They specifically call his position the “Senior Delivery Experience Specialist” and gave me his personal line.

I hope the Tesla Gods bless you and that VIN comes this month.

As always, let me know if you have any more questions!

My rep told me that she wasn't aware of any inventory moving through Texas so it looks like I probably won't be able to get a car by the end of this month anyway.. LR AWD. Order placed January 10th. Can pick up from Columbus or Cincinnati Ohio. She said that her system is showing a "February" delivery.

Yeah, I think you may have justttt missed the order window on those. Either way keep in touch and give your rep a call in a week or so as they may just have some cars show up around the 25th if there are any coming.

Checking my email multiple times a day, waiting on a delivery schedule email, when I see an email from Tesla...

Get excited and open it up and it says “Meet the Model 3, order one now”.

Umm, hello, I already met it and I want it and already ordered it. Lol. Just cruel to dash my hopes like that.

I just hope TOPSCRT info is on point and maybe I will get lucky and get it soon. Ordered on Jan. 3rd.

After reading your comments, I emailed my Tesla advisor back yesterday to see if there was anything coming in the area that matches my configuration, in hopes to not have to wait "4-7 weeks"... lo and behold, he emailed me a few minutes ago to say that he found one that matches my configuration and should be in Charlotte in "2 weeks or less!" WOW!

Now to get my trade-in and payment info completed... and the electrician scheduled for the Wall Connector. :)

Just emailed my SA.

The answer was ignore the website/tesla account timeframe. She said I am 8-12 weeks away (in Canada) from any model 3 deliveries.

Yup I'm in Vancouver ordered a month ago and nothing yet they said usual time frame is 4-7 weeks but its gonna take longer than that just need it before March 31 or its gonna cost me $3000 more when the rebate ends

Ayyyyyy congrats!

Few things. 1. Get those steps done ASAP! So you can actually take that car. 2. Make sure they actually assign that car to you now so someone else doesn’t buy it. 3. Charlotte doesn’t carry any accessories(pain in the ass). So you need to order your 14-50 or 6-50 plug online and the 14-50 is currently out of stock. I’m waiting for the back in stock email. So I rushed to install my outlet and can’t even get an adapter lol

Yep, I completed the trade-in and payment steps same day. Car is matched to me and I got the VIN. Got my Wall Connector ordered ("ships in 1-2 weeks") and electrician lined up, as well as a 10-30 adapter (older dryer outlet) in case the Wall Connector takes too long to get here.
