LR AWD, Aero, Black/Black, Autopilot
No VIN, Delivery Scheduled, or other updates as of 9/8 (3 weeks)
Update as of 9/17
- VIN was assigned 9/13
- Delivery Scheduled for 9/16 the following day
- On 9/15, received notice that that the car had been damaged during transport, and I would be "placed in front of the queue for a new car out of the factory"
- On 9/16, a new VIN was added to my dashboard, with a new delivery date scheduled for 9/20 (I did not confirm availability, it was assigned)
- On 9/17 I reached out to my Owner Advisor asking for clarification. He wasn't in the loop about the damaged car or that a new one had been matched. He followed up shortly after confirming that a match had been found and was on it's way to the local delivery center.
- A few hours later, I received another call explaining that the matching car was actually a Canadian VIN, and that they weren't able to legally sell me the car.
- As of EOD 9/17 I have no VIN or delivery date scheduled. Coming up on 5 weeks since configuration/deposit.
