Model 3 order Up for grabs - ordered 10/31, delivery before year end, save $3400

I ordered on 10/31 before the $1500 price hike on 11/1. Car should be delivered well before the new year and you can avail the $1875 tax credit as well. I contacted Tesla and it seems like you can do a transfer of order. I ended up buying a pre-owned instead a couple of days ago.

Long Range All-Wheel Drive (LR AWD)
White exterior
Black Premium interior
Premium Sound
Autopilot (AP)
Full Self Driving (FSD)
19" sport wheels
Total: $55,490 - $1875 = $53,615

Same ordered car is now is $57,000, and based on delivery times will not make it before the new year.

I think Tesla is willing to downgrade the FSD to AP before delivery to save the new buyer even more money.

Do you know if it's possible to remove FSD, change the exterior color to Midnight Silver, and change to Aero wheels? Not sure any of that is possible considering the reservation is almost a month old but figured I'd ask - would save me $500 compared to current pricing. Thanks for any info you can provide.

Any changes to the configuration would revert to current pricing but you would maintain your delivery date, as I understand it.

The car is ready for delivery NOW. This will need to get transferred pretty quickly.

Final bump. Tesla has emailed me again about delivery. Car is available immediately.

You will save over $3k on a brand new car and get it sooner.

otherwise this order will soon be cancelled and someone is going to pay more for the exact same thing. What a shame

And to be clear you won’t be buying the car from me. You’ll be buying the car from Tesla directly and taking delivery and making payment in whatever fashion and location you choose
