10,000 miles and no issues. I don’t use brushes for washing, not that that should cause that sort of issue. Pictures would help.

Are you sure it wasn't that way all along and you just didn't notice it before? There are parts of the car that do not receive a finish coat.

That’s disturbing if true. Photos? Have you contacted Tesla yet?

I'm getting my car wrapped, I spoke with a lot of shops and they all said because of California laws, the paint on Tesla is very soft and easy to damage. I think this is why so many people are getting their cars wrapped whether it's a clear protective layer or a color change.

Lets see some pics OP. I have a slight peppering of each area just behind each of the wheels but its pretty far under the body. Mudflaps would help I am sure, at a cost in mileage. I am considering them, but haven't seen anything great yet.

OPs first post, then he/she doesn't follow up for 3 days? Troll

And there is an OEM laminate along the bottom kick panel below the doors so I would call BS anyway

Here’s a couple of examples on my car, which I believe is what he’s referring to

Pictures of a Model 3 in Quebec after this winter. Tire spray debris not only blasted through the paint on the front lower rocker but also the rubberized protective coating under the paint. I have the minimal California guards on the way. May only install the front ones. From Eric in Quebec. English website translation coming:

Not being from a place where there's a lot of snow on the road, I haven't seen anything like this in my life.
What would another car without mudflaps look like after a similar treatment?
Looks like mudflaps are a good idea, especially in areas where lots of grit will hit your car.

There’s a big uproar among finnish users because of a very weak paint endurance. Many customers have unacceptable paint wear only after few thousand kilometres.

You should have you Service Center look at this. Try to push for them to help you fix the issue --- either directly with Tesla, or Tesla pay a body shop fix.

If Tesla wont help you -- you might need to file a claim with your insurance company and pay our decuctable to have it fixed at a body shop.

Hi Guys and regards from Finland. I am one of the owners ( model 3 performance ) We have a major problem going on with the Tesla Model 3 painting. On 2000 km / 1 month old model 3 already my paint is gone on skirts, body, right door to 25 cm etc.

I have at least 10 friends who has same problems on their m3.

More pictures and video of my model 3 are below. on google drive links:

    What we done already:

    1. Make a claim to Tesla Finland to repair these.
    2. They have denied and try to say it is not part of warranty. YEP really!

THIS IS DEFECT in quality of Tesla products and we can't stand it. I have paid over 94.000 $ for the M3p vehicle in finland....

What do you think about these?
