I received my $49,990 stealth performance model 3 on Saturday, 7/2019 build sticker on the b-pillar, MXM4 tires, 162 mph top speed in recent changes list.

I got one question for others who got this new inventory-only car: have you received an update yet? I'm on wifi at home every night, and I'm still suck on 2019.15.104.1.

Any news on your firmware version? I have the stealth performance as well (took delivery on 7/20). I was stuck at 15.104. Then I got in touch with Tesla. They said their records showed I was at 16.104. I sent them screenshots, they pushed an update (which I received). But when the update completed, I only went from 15.104 to 15.105. I texted them back, but still haven't heard anything. See sms convo I had with tesla attached.

15.104.1 for me as well. in fact when i picked my car up yesterday it had the Sentry bug. So no audio on our 5 hr drive home.
Delivery specialist said she would get with their service manager to push the update to me. *fingers crossed*

Update on this: I received the following sms message from Tesla this morning:

It shows on our end that it has successfully installed which means if you haven't seen the firmware update come through that engineering has put a hold on the firmware being installed in your vehicle which is often due to a bug found in the firmware. Please be patient, you will see the update available once engineering has addressed their end of it.

So the LR sleeper performance models have their own exclusive firmware versions? When rest of M3 cars get's their firmware updated (like now with 2019.28), performance sleepers have to wait for Tesla to make one separately?

What information makes you think that? HW 2.5 vs HW 3 diffs are supposedly the only thing at the moment?

I do believe there is configuration info that tells the software about the car - but that's general ie does this car have FSD, etc, size of rims (mine came with 18 but now has 19 and I got the screen config changed so it shows that).

My sleeper Performance also has track mode but I did learn the text message warning me about using it is a little different than Performance cars with the OEM 20 rims + brakes. The car can't know I have my own updated brakes but well written software would (as it appears) be using feedback from the car's performance on track to adjust to:

- condition of tires/pressure in tires
- braking response
- nut behind the wheel input
- stuff

etc..

Since everyone is saying them being on version 2019.15 while the latest firmware is 2019.28.1?

Not sure if another person raising their hand is helpful, but I'm two weeks in with my P3D- and still on 2019.15.104.1. Normally I'm happy to be patient, but my old ChaDeMo adapter from my S won't work until I have 2019.24, it's starting to cramp my style a bit for my most common trip.
