I can't get the accelerator cover installed. I think I'm just going to go back to the default brake cover and give up on the Taptes covers. Other designs look like they might be a bit easier to install.

Also, it took 2 months for these to arrive. They were cheap though.

Same here! I ordered the RPM prior to delivery and it doesn’t match. It’s shiny and the OEM pedals are matte.

I ordered a taptes ss dead pedal
as mentioned on living tesla youtube channel

my results are less than satisfactory,
one of the vertical open outlines was crimped,
however it wouldn’t distract after installation,

dbl sticky tape does not stay attached completely,
meaning as your dead foot places pressure on dead
pedal, you can feel & hear the cover stick & unstick
on OEM dead pedal block! quite frustrating!!!

also, the taptes dead pedal cover is roll flanged on
lower right edge, any foot or floor mat movement
catches this edge and pulls the ss cover, loosening
the dbl sticky tape further?

I pulled mine off, as I don’t like the sound n feel of
it sticking & unsticking, also I’d hate to have it come
loose and impede brake/throttle movements!

The performance models come with the nicer pedals. There is nothing performance about the actual pedals. These are just made to look like the pedals in the performance models.

I see that RPM Tesla sells a pair too, are they any good?

I have the RPM Tesla ones. I love them. They're glossy, but they also match the dead pedal they sell. Plus the rubber feels really substantial. I smile when I look at them. No one knows that they're not the OEM ones (which do arguably look better)

The 5-stripe ones are metal and the 3-strip ones are plastic, or at least when I was looking on Amazon that was the case. I went w/ the metal version and love them.

I hear you! I almost decided against it and then I just decided I would always pee before I drive it.

We all save weight in our own ways.

There are lots on ebay for less than $20 search for "Car Footrest Foot Rest Plate Cover Trim For Tesla Model 3". I have one no complaints.

the taptes w/double sticky tape doesn't get it, and I'm

glue it permanently, sadly they haven't addressed the

The dead pedal I bought has the standard 3M double sided strips and no issue with how it sticks. Its just a foot rest and once its on it isn't coming off without heat and force. Its just a stainless steel pedal and its going to get scratched over time, its $20 dollars easy to put on, it stays on and its easy to remove when you want to take it off. No idea why anyone would want it to be any more permanent.

I have the Taptes dead pedal on for about a month now...no issues at all.
