Very similar to my experience. Ordered June 22 and was surprised to get the delivery scheduling text this morning after seeing the projected delivery dates jump around for the last month.

First time caller, long time listener.
Thought I'd contribute what my dates have been thus far:
Ordered M3 LR on Black/Black on 6/26. Delivery to Manhasset, NY
- Initially showed 7-11 weeks
- One week later showed delivery date of 7/3 to 7/16
- Shifted to 7-11 weeks
- Past two weeks it has shown estimated delivery date of September
Today it's showing estimated delivery date of 8/3 to 8/19. Let's see what tomorrow brings!

Yea it is strange. Everything we've been told has been "end of quarter, end of quarter" and Q2 certainly saw that happen. Was all set for end of Aug for Q3 and now there's a blast of Performance 3s coming out mid-quarter.

Have you tried to contact your delivery service center for more clarity? Mine hasn’t given me anything useful but I’ve read some others have had better luck
I did last time when mine went back to 7-11 weeks and the guy basically said it’s a placeholder while the system updates and it will give you a new EDD after a day or 2. I guess we’ll see though because you’ve been stuck on it for a while now

Once you have a VIN, it'll move fast. I'd say before the VIN is received, it'll be a random guess.
Technically they could still deliver before the initial August 14 EDD. Rumor is if you change your avatar to a squirrel that will speed things up. 🐿

Yea, for reality - haha...
Tesla stated 7-11 weeks when I clicked ORDER. So... even with the random anxiety inducing updates, they are still on track! "HOPE" for sooner...

I'm in Houston as well. Ordered 6/29 and been stuck on 10-16 weeks for two days now.

Getting a little worried now. I texted my SA yesterday and told her I don’t want the car this quarter. Got a text about them delivering it to my house in 1-3 days(!) this morning, replied to that and asked them to unmatch me. Our local delivery center won’t answer the phones 
I still haven’t accepted Tesla vision, so they better not show up at my house.

You could try and talk to someone via chat on the Tesla website. Maybe they could help you get in touch with someone?Getting a little worried now. The delivery team is separate from the sales team - your SA probably hasn't gotten in touch with the delivery team yet. Chat on the website just directed me to talk to my SA - but she replied to my text and put the order on hold again while I was trying to chat on the website. So all is good now.
Home delivery is new to me though. Has anyone with the Costa Mesa delivery center had home delivery? We picked up one Tesla at Costa Mesa delivery center directly (2019), and picked up another one at a parking structure in Irvine that Costa Mesa redirected all their deliveries to during covid for touchless delivery (2021).
