Finally. First update since I ordered on 8/8, although not exactly positive: EDD changed from 9/1-9/30 to 9/13-9/30. No VIN.
Got my VIN with a newly updated EDD of 9/12 (today, but car places are closed on Sundays in NV) to 9/15.

Uploaded insurance information containing the VIN and now just waiting for the "Review Agreements" button to become enabled. (Then I'll be prompted to schedule delivery [?])

You're getting my hopes up that I will get my VIN soon! You are about 550 miles from the factory and I am about 400. With how they do shipping farthest to closest, that should mean I am very close hopefully! My EDD is still sitting at 9/14-9/30 which it has been at since 3 days after my 8/22 order

August 1st Initial Order
August 3rd: Estimated Delivery: 8/19 - 9/18
August 20th - Estimated Delivery: 8/24-9/13
August 25th - Estimated Delivery: 9/2 - 9/22
September 3rd - Estimated Delivery: 9/6 - 9/22
September 4th - Estimated Delivery: 9/7-9/19
September 8th — Estimated Delivery: 9/11-9/27
September 12th - Estimated Delivery: 9/15- 9/30

mine is weird, I ordered 8/21, I've had a vin# for about 2 weeks now, but i've never had an ETA or anything. I've even paid the car in full already, but still no ETA as of today.
Are you sure you are looking in the right place? When you log in to your Tesla acct, find and click on "Manage" under your reservation. Then on desktop your delivery estimate is on the right side under the "Your Model 3" box. On mobile you have to click on the "Your Car" drop down on the right side to see it.

EDD shifted one day this morning from 9/12-9/15 to now 9/13-9/16.
 
I wish I got some movement on mine, even if it's not sooner, just narrow down my EDD. Been stuck at 9/14-9/30 since ordering. Been basically checking every few hours since I got that time frame. Anyone know if VIN is still showing in source code first?

I suspect that exterior colors make a difference in how quickly you get a VIN and delivery. I see you ordered a Midnight Silver Metallic. I ordered my Model 3 Performance MSM/black on 8/15. EDD was 9/3 to 9/30. Then 9/9 to 9/30. Currently it is 9/13 (today) to 9/30. No VIN yet. I am in the Seattle area. I think MSM is not a popular color and cars don't get built with this color as often as other colors.

According to the order tracking doc, there is only 4 of the performance MSM that have been input into the data. You are further from the factory AND ordered before me so you should definitely get a VIN before me. Seeing as you have yet to get your EDD updated, I've got a wait lol.

Ordered our Model 3 Performance (white over black) on 9/8. Delivery window at the time was 2 to 8 weeks. On 9/9 received VIN# with a delivery window of 9/20 to 9/26. Received text and e-mail this morning asking to schedule delivery between 9/24 and 9/26. Will be picking it up in Jacksonville on 9/25.

I never got an email or text specifically stating that my VIN had been assigned. I simply checked my Account page (often) and, at one point, it had changed to indicate that a VIN had been assigned and I could add proof of insurance at that time. So, I guess that is code first, but I never received any other notification of a VIN.

"Home delivery" currently scheduled for 9/15, (which is a little strange because I was originally told that home delivery wasn't available for my location, but I'll take it).

Called to speak to a delivery specialist and was told that the delivery would be confirmed 24 hours before appt via phone and that the "Review Agreements" option would become available at that time on my Account page.

It was the only option for me when I got the Delivery confirmation. I am too scheduled for 9/15 home delivery. I'll take it. :)
