Damn I just ordered the wall charger a few days at the higher price.

That sucks. It is absolutely crazy how volatile Tesla prices are.

One minute the wall charger is included, next minute they want $200 for it, but reduce the wall charger price from $550 to $500 to then $400?

You can email them to get the price adjusted. If they say no then cancel or return your current order and order it again.

I've read that they've adjusted the price for people in the past.

Update, no VIN and not a whole lot of movement here. Excited to see VIN’s finally coming out at least April had me worried.

Yeah, it's all starting to add up.

I called today to get a status update. My VIN is fully built and out of the factory, but needs to finish "final inspection" and preparation for delivery. Even though the car is built, my delivery window opened today, and I live in Fremont...the SA said it'll probably be another week. Really? They are short parts required for final delivery.

They have a few thousand cars built based on VINs, but are struggling to actually deliver any. They must be expecting a bunch of chargers to arrive soon, and they'll overnight them around the country to complete orders.

That has to be it. Now, the question is are they still out of the ECU or was it a certain batch of cars?

I'm going to do just this as I purchased the Wall Connector last week at $630 CAD and today it's $510. If they don't credit me the difference I will just return and repurchase at the new price but I hope they are not that short sighted.

Have not received any texts from Tesla that wasn’t a response to an inquiry other than the initial text upon ordering. I’ll check for vin in the page but I’m guessing it won’t be there til I get the notification from Tesla.

Initial EDD (despite the web saying may to June) was Aug 24-Sep 9

New EDD as of this morning is May 29- July 3.

Is the wall connector the mobile charger just with the non removable 240 volt plug end?

The wall connector is not the home charger, correct? The one that the price was recently reduced to $500 from $550?

It says Est delivery for the mobile charger is Aug-Oct 22. I wonder if that’s like the car I ordered in Feb with an estimated delivery of March.

Poor folks who ordered today forward are going to have to deal with two EDD circuses if they ordered a Mobile Charger as well.
