I only waited six weeks for it. Even if it is three months (doubt it), I have other cars I can drive. It'll be another 3 months, FWIW.

I sure hope so, Steven. Same thing happened last week, then I went back to 6/15-6/30, 'til this morning.Back to Club 2-11 for me too. Could be a good thing if it means a VIN is almost here.
Yes. You are one of the very lucky few. Most folks have to wait several weeks-months for delivery.New poster and hopefully soon to be new Tesla owner. I've been reading these boards for a while and I wanted to share my experience as it seems to be a little unusual compared to what I'm seeing here. Ordered by M3 LR white exterior with black interior no FSD on June 9. Estimated delivery range of July 24-Aug 5. Two days later the confirm your delivery blue button pops up and I click it. Two hours later I get a text to schedule my in home delivery (even though there is a Tesla dealer 3 miles from my house). I'm now scheduled for delivery next Wednesday. I never thought this would happen so fast. Perhaps I just got lucky that someone had rejected delivery and I was next in line? In any event I'm completely unprepared as I thought I'd have another month or two to prepare.
Congrats!Ordered the ‘21 Model 3 Performance in Blue with White interior on May 31st, took delivery in Houston TX ahead of indicated date on Thursday, June 10th.
Paint, panels, etc all looked great. I can confirm the passenger side lumbar is gone. No big deal as my wife never used it and is seldom in the car.
Also, radar is gone from the car and the Autosteer works up to 75 mph on highway & +5 mph on the city streets (I’ve activated it on so far). The distance to car in front starts at 3 vs 1. Expect this will improve in the next few weeks, as tweeted.
The car is a hoot to drive! Sold my ‘20 Blue/Black SR+ yesterday with 6k mi. for $38,500, if you can believe it. It’s a tremendous used car market here right now. Tesla offered $30k on trade.
Same here, went to 2-11 weeks, then back to “today + 2 days” - June 29. I’m not worried, EDD is a fun date that means nothing, especially without a VIN.I sure hope so, Steven. Same thing happened last week, then I went back to 6/15-6/30, 'til this morning.
Haha..don't know that I'd call it "a fun date"' but it's certainly made things interesting, if not stress inducing.Same here, went to 2-11 weeks, then back to “today + 2 days” - June 29. I’m not worried, EDD is a fun date that means nothing, especially without a VIN.
Notification by email and details on the Tesla account. When you get a vin, is it by email or text or just by looking on the site?
I ordered on 5/12. Received my VIN on 6/10. When my VIN appeared on the site, my EDD went from 6/22-6/30 to 6/18-6/24. I’ve uploaded insurance to the site, but still nothing from my SA as far as delivery. I also have no ability to make my final payment or schedule delivery on the site.I have a VIN and edd of 6/16-6/22. Call as was told expected to be here 6/19, but still no ability to pay or schedule delivery date. Is that strange or no?
In my experience, SA's have not seemed to be a good source for info, if you're even able to reach your SA. Probably best to try and reach out to a delivery center to get delivery info. They should be able to at least give you more reliable ballpark information about your EDD according to your VIN.I ordered on 5/12. Received my VIN on 6/10. Received my VIN around 1 am on 6/12/21. Ordered on 5/12/21. Also, have the MVPA. Estimated Delivery: June 23 - June 29. Hopefully, the delivery moves up sooner.Congratulations! I'm still checking...

This. SAs are not the same as delivery specialists.

I wasn't so lucky to have a great SA. She was great while I was there doing my test drive and answering questions that day, but ever since, not a word and she doesn't respond to my messages. And FWIW my SA was awesome. She tracked my car, let me know when it was due to arrive at the SC, validated everything was good to go with temp tags, etc. Your mileage may vary, as they say!
