mine was order 5/26 delivery tomorrow in CLT....40 days order to delivery...Tesla hit my dates perfectly!..(dont look at dates daily, it will cause you to drink copious amounts of bourbon!...)

Hahaha, I don't do well with not obsessing over delivery dates (of anything), glad mine was insanely fast, 9 days (and day 7 was actually a delivery option, but waited for Dad's Day), order to driving it off the lot

I'm a LR waiting customer, delivery scheduled next week. But for you Tampa people, just happened to be cooking down I-275 S to work..what do I see getting off at the exit for the dealer, truckload of Performance models....

This morning I checked the date, and its update says: July 07- July 27.
Historically, with a window like this, does it fall more on the late-side or early-side?

Look who’s joined the party this early morning...

I woke up early this morning to go “M3Peee” and thought I’d check my email while I was up and sure enough, I had the “final payment” email waiting for me. I then checked my Tesla account and there was a VIN assignment...woohoo!View attachment 677082
Now all that’s needed is to get the delivery time locked in and I’ll be a very happy man!
The struggle is nearly over.

Good observation. I wonder how many of those (specifically M3’s) are in Southern California. It seems I see one every time I turn my head. Here, they are everywhere. Not nearly the rare sight that they used to be.

Where exactly is that paint issue? Do you have a picture showing the whole area? It seems most of the paint issues and panel problems are on white M3P’s lately…..of course that’s what I ordered

Paint issue is on the passenger side door. Directly in line with the side camera. Happy to grab a zoomed out photo later today if it might help give context.

The weather has been HORRIBLE almost every day for a couple weeks. Bad storms.

My M3P arrived….in the pouring rain but I looked it over moments after it came off the truck.

Can’t tell how the actual paint looks but the fit of panels is not good.

Here are the pics of what I see so far:

1. Where the front bumper meets the front fender between the passenger headlight and hood, the bumper is an 1/8” higher than the fender. The drivers side is perfect.

2. There is an excessive gap on the passenger side front window glass and the B piller by the side camera. Drivers side is much better.

3. Lower section of drivers front door sticks way out past where it should meet flush with the back door. Passenger side is perfect.

4. Front edge of hood sits much higher than the bumper, to the point of dangerously higher.

5. Excessively large gap between passenger rear door and rear quarter panel. Drivers side is perfect.

6. Drivers side rear door handle sunken in lower than body, the other three door handles are flush.

I could not inspect the front and rear bumpers due to the plastic on them and I was unable to see the overall paint condition but based on what I’ve already seen, I’m passing on this one.
