My delivery experience went as follows

Me: Hey Tesla it’s pouring rain and I have my little daughter with me. Can you pull it into the giant empty service center so I can look at it.

Tesla: No. …please accept delivery.

Me: hey Tesla can I look at the interior.

Tesla: No

Me: soaking wet… ok drive off. Inspect at home.
I hate to hear that. My service experience center was very good and two people were very helpful and answered all my questions. There was one minor thing that the service center manager came out to look at and they’re going to have mobile come by to fix it next week (at my insistence, I wanted to get going).

What was wrong? I’m not overly anal about panel gaps. I had a 85k raptor before this with extremely misaligned doors. Never was an issue.

Yeah my front bumper alignment is the same as yours and pops in that same place. Didn't have any interior issues although the dash gap on driver side is slightly larger than passenger. The driver side upper panel pops up a little high too. When I took it for ppf, the tech looked over the car in detail w me and pointed out same things, but said Tesla would not likely fix bc so minor. I'm not going to bother w fixing, but as for your interior, I definitely would.

IT'S HERE!

And what a day to pick up a new Tesla! Perhaps the heaviest rainfall this year, and the hard working folks at the Tesla center says they got no break for the rest of the year, you heard it right - no Christmas day off. Mad respect for them.

The car looks good, then again it's impossible to inspect up close in the rain, have to wait till tomorrow. Perhaps what amused me the most was how great the AWD and low center of gravity of the M3P perform on wet surface, still I was too scared to test out 0-60, maybe tomorrow :)

Super happy this Xmas started on such good note, and best luck to the rest of you still waiting on your delivery!

Are you serious?!?!? I have delivery next week. Mine had better not go down like that! I sure hope this is not the normal.

For anyone wanting to know in Raleigh area, I ordered my M3p on 12/17 and just got a vin assigned today 12/24 for next week delivery. Boy I am not prepared for that lol. Time to find financing and get my Raptor sold. Its a sad yet good day
I feel like an absurd amount of VINs is going to pump out over the next 2-3 days.

Granted, I don’t have a single drop of hope that I’ll be one of them but a lot of people are going to get VINs for sure
