Model 3 Performance Waiting Room

EDD moved up a little today. Previously 2/8-2/11, now 2/3 -2/9. Assuming they allow that 3 days between arrival and scheduling a delivery I should be able to make it work, but if it gets any earlier, I could have a problem (0 chance I can get time off work before 2/5)

I see everybody commenting on EDD's moving up and down but for me it was originally just "February", until it went away 2 weeks ago, staying that way ever since. Is this normal?

Model 3P finally arrived yesterday with AMD Ryzen and lithium ion battery. No dual panes in rear.

It is great!

Couple notes. Delivery delayed two days as they told me it had panel gaps to fix. Panel gaps seem good now, not 100% perfect but fine. Car had 30 miles on it when delivered to my house and already two minor rock chips on the front bumper. Not a big deal but I’d pick it up at the center if I had the choice.

I’m in the queue for the M3LR - but thinking of moving to the P. Couple of questions hoping you can help with

What is the average wait to delivery period on the P? The LR is about 90-100 days. I’d be going for a Red/White M3P.…

Does the M3P come with summer tires only, or is it all weather? I’m picking up in Toronto…

Ugh, I will be rejecting my delivery which was slated for tomorrow. I went by to look at the car today and it had a chunk of metal missing on a wheel and the trunk lid was all scratched up. Anyone know how long it would take to get reassigned a new vin and delivery. She looked so good too!

Where are you located? What was your setup? When did you order?

I’m in Raleigh, it was a MSM M3P. Original order was 12/17.

Sweet, I’ll be in Raleigh on Friday actually lol. From what I’ve seen, and someone else can def chime in, it’s not that long after you reject. They try and get you one of the next ones out

Thanks I sure hope so, maybe a blessing in disguise as maybe the new one will have the new chip set.

Yes. Where it used to be the EDD it is now just empty space. It coincided with ETA changes in the design studio too. Probably not a good sign, just wondering if common to happen.

1/8: 1/8 - 2/5
1/9: 2/4 - 3/5
1/12: Changed to M3P MSM White
1/13: 2/4 - 3/4
1/19: 2/4 - 3/4
1/23: 2/4 - 3/4
1/28: Woke up to 2/3-2/15

I asked about tires, all M3P come with summer tires. I am going to have TSportline wheels with tires ready for delivery.

Looks like the lowered suspension visual is now gone from the configurator too. Same height as other models now. Hopefully my 1/21 build date is lowered

Placed my order a week ago. It went from 3/1 -3/28 to Feb-8 - March 8. How accurate is this ? When I will approximately get it ?

I’m 90% sure the Performance is the same height and they lowered the other models. Interesting.

Any previous owners here have experience with insurance and FSD , before / after the fact / preferably in California ? No one seems to know / have answers.
