Thanks for the input after the wheel change. What was your SOC for the 1/4 mile runs? These cars seem to do 11.6 to 11.7 in stock form so it's definitely a nice improvement.

11.3@117 is crazy fast. Is that strip downhill?
I'm guessing you lost some range with the wider tires and extra offset/spacers. Tesla puts narrow tires and tucks them into the bodywork for aero.
I keep a keycard in my wallet just in case, I wonder if when the car falls asleep is the bluetooth still active to look for the phone key? The only issue I was having with my phone key is it was intermittent, I noticed when I keep my phone in my back pocket it's hit or miss if the car recognizes the phone key. I have to have my phone in my hand for it to work 100% of the time.

I went to the closest supercharger, topped off to 100%, then drove ~30miles to the strip. First pass was at 93%, and was my quickest (hot battery maybe?) 11.35@117. Each pass used up just under 2% range. My 6th and final run was 82% and ran a 11.38@117.

Maybe my slightly shorter tires made it faster on the 1/4? dunno. My coworker was there with her M3LR and she ran a consistent 12.2, so the track itself wasn't anything special. she just did two passes running 12.2 then left. below is some screenshots from her husband's video and her one dashcam vid. (i screwed up and did not save any dashcam and overwrote the files on the way home inadvertently... :(

I just ordered a key fob. Plan is to have phone in hand, keyfob in pocket and keycard in wallet... I am never getting locked out of this thing again.... :p

Just got off the phone with my local store's operations manager. I have a delivery appointment scheduled at the store on 05-30-22! I think it's somewhat appropriate that it'll be Memorial Day. Hopefully in addition to the day's actual meaning, there will also be a good memory made for me personally that day.

If the scheduled delivery date holds true, that would end up being 86 days from the day my order was placed to the day that the vehicle was actually delivered.

Now to be patient until then...😰...this is going to be tough...

I've added my current insurance policy...doesn't need to have the Tesla added yet right?
Not based on what I was told, although that may vary from state to state. In my case, however, I was told that proof of an active insurance policy is all that's required by Tesla. My insurance agent also told me that I have a 2 week grace period to officially add the vehicle to my policy once I take possession.
