Same here. I texted them and they said I could pick it up, but it would be contactless and exactly the same.

I figure that anything that happens to the car on the way from the factory to my driveway isn't my liability, and I don't have the leeway to decline delivery right now as I need a car, so it's okay. I'm just gonna put the car through it's paces in the first 23 hours and document as much as possible.

5/14: Call from advisor notifying me that I will be receiving a VIN very soon.
5/16: EDD May 21 - June 4
5/17: EDD May 19-May 23 Received VIN number!

Morning everyone! Looks like I have another EDD update for this week as seen below.

EDD #6 (5/18): 6/8 - 7/6

Nothing too major. Looks like my EDD window tightened from 35 days to around 28 days so about one week shaved off of the EDD time frame. Fingers crossed I'm still hoping I get my VIN assigned near end of May so I can apply for financing before another rate hike in June.

I changed mine about 5 days ago on the website and had no issues or changes in date. I didn't have a vin yet. Idk if that matters.

Logged in to Tesla account, manage reservation. In the payment section I had cash selected. Changed it to finance and it asked me some info to get approved.

I hear ya. I miss my LR RWD. That was a fun car. The steering was a lot lighter than the dual motor cars and being able to whip the rear end out on the right surface was fun. We’ll be able to do that with Track mode on the Performance but it’s a different drive altogether.
