Nice timeline. Cali order.

I took home delivery after questioning how much time I would have to inspect the car before accepting it, and they said I would have as much time as it took for the driver to catch an Uber back to the SC, but if I had any quality problems before the first 100 miles were driven that I could ask for an appt. and submit pics to the SC. The car arrived at 4:00 PM and I had a half hour to check it outside for obvious problems and it looked good, so I accepted it and put it in the garage to go over thoroughly with my multiple checklists tomorrow. :)

Congrats - and I know the feeling re: Tint/PPF. Dropped mine off today. I have a feeling it’ll be done early (maybe Wed) as they had 2 additional 3s drive up as I was leaving and they were getting booked up for EOQ sales too.

Yep, I should have my car ready for pickup on Thursday afternoon.
RE: Mobile Connector charger...
I for got to mention this, and I'm not sure about the experience of others lately, my car had the Mobile Connector in the trunk. I thought they had stopped supplying it.

When you guys did a self arranged loan, how did you get the final copy of the purchase which includes year, make, model, VIN, dealer's name and address?
Maybe I can help, since I went through it last week. Be sure to tell Tesla how much your down payment will be and how much you will finance, who you are financing through. They will update the MVPA with signature. My CU needed the signed MVPA by seller and buyer before they will issue the check. Tesla wants copy of the check before they will schedule delivery/ pickup date. At least mine did.

Yeah, no prob! I totally spaced that today was a holiday. The approval process was very quick, just a few minutes and then the following day a rep from the CU called to provide the terms and conditions. The process was a little faster for me being an existing member. The "exclusive relationship" Star One has with Tesla will help save time since they fund Tesla directly (the whole amount, including tax & other fees)!
I second that. I financed with them too and it was really pleasant

I’ll have to call both Tesla and the CU tomorrow. I was approved but from my research, it looks like I can give Tesla some sort of approval letter? I was able to schedule a pick up since I had cash payment and then switched to self loan.

anyone figure out what a realistic round trip range is? without going less then 20 percent on the battery and charging around 80-85 percent? 75-80 mph
About 170 miles total. I just drove up to Reno from the bay area. I was pretty chill with the acceleration and used auto pilot quite a bit. Around 75 to 80 going up the foothills

If you limit yourself to just 60% of the packs capacity Id wager 150-160 miles range.

I have been using some route planning tools for a roadtrip coming up this weekend. PHX to LA, just stopping twice for 25 minutes each. This is based on me leaving home with 100%, targeting no less than 30% SoC (cause im a wuss this first time out), and arriving with no less than 25%.

Just cruising on the freeway Ive been getting about 265-280 wh/mile. Spirited driving is.......higher.
I have been averaging in the 290s. Guess i gotta chill😂

Greetings folks! Im excited to join this waiting room with all of you. I catch myself checking the tesla app almost as much as i do instagram to see if the dates budged. I decided to get the performance in hopes the June - August timeframe was realistic when I placed the order a few days ago. Mine is showing Sept 3 - Oct 14 now. Either way excited!

Located in AZ, anyone else around me waiting on theirs?

I’m not sure running around the outside the home 7 times naked covered in full synthetic motor oil helps or hurts the cause!!!! What say ye?
@Flatbroke remember when elon asked you....

I think you should have said, yes. I am sure it was a part of my vetting process to see if I was worthy of an M3P.

Have you called Tesla? YOU are well beyond everyone else in not getting your VIN by now. I feel for you seeing all of these people getting their rides and you are still sitting on the bench warming it up.
