I think everyone that has posted in this thread has tried to understand or apply logic to Tesla's system of ordering/delivery. And I think we've all failed. Nothing about their order/delivery process makes any logical sense--at least not to those of us outside of Tesla's boardrooms.
The people in the boardrooms don't need to make sense - just dollars.

I ordered before that and still have not received a two week window. In fact, your initial EDD is before mine even though you ordered almost 10 days after me. But apparently these dates don't mean much. Saw another post from someone that ordered LR on 6/4, switched to P on 7/7, and already has a VIN!!! It seems there are just more white cars made/available so those folks get cars quicker? At least that's what I'm telling myself.
Ah! I have switched color combo like 4 times in 4 days lol. Thankfully, it hasnt changed my EDD (yet!). Went from White/Black to Black/White to Blue/White to finally White/White. Confusing their ordering system, atleast the SA haha.

Haha, not enough confidence to pull THAT off! But, the white/white might just feel like that! Still debating switch to Blue/White but cant make up my mind.
Blue/White is the ONE! 😍 One of the color combos must speak to you. Try to think a year from now and which one will bring a smile to your face. Fortunately, the model 3 looks good in all colors.

Update:

Spoke with a rep on the phone and had him look into my order just to make sure that everything was good to go. No kinks or hiccups. All is Green.

He was able to tell me where my M3P was scheduled to be delivered to (service center) and said that production is in full effect / rolling out.

Since I haven't received a text or a call from anyone he sent me a text that connected me to the local delivery specialist.

Although it's not an EDD change with a 2 week window, I'll take every bit of info that I can get. 😄

I had made a post previously about how I thought my EDD would update by this Tuesday (yesterday), but I was actually off by a week lol. I had meant this coming Tuesday.... fingers crossed.

Nice to see all the VINs being received!

The lesson is, expect delays even after your vehicle has been built.
Same happened to me. I had a Saturday delivery scheduled and with no input from me they changed it to the following Wednesday during work hours. Over the next EIGHT days I sent multiple texts so I could verify if they actually DID have it when they were supposed to. They ignored every message I sent and then sent me a message saying the car arrived early and asking if I'd like to reschedule delivery. I ended up receiving the car on the original scheduled date.

I drove down the day prior to delivery to make sure the car was actually somewhere on the lot.

There is a huge matric to it all. color/config/location/delivery vehicle/etc. They make only certain colors at a certain time, they can only load trains at certain time, they only make configs as certain times. So if you are white/black, in NJ, with a M3P, then you can only be built in a certain window. I think its why we are seeing so many M3P VINs today. They are making them now, or just did.

Other than some outliers, most M3P are 8 weeks from order. And lets be honest, the LR switchover are jumping the line on the virgin M3P buyers. But they have been waiting also.

I'm curious about that too. I've been thinking about the 245 but would prefer a 255 if it fits with no issues.
Certain 255/35r20's fit depending on the overall diameter of the tire. As long as it's 27" or less, you should be fine. Check with the actual manufacturer's website (fe: discount tire's lists incorrect/inaccurate diameters).

I plan on swapping the summer tires as soon as I take delivery.
