Looks great. I’m picking mine up tomorrow from Newcastle and then straight to the detailers in Harrogate for PPF, ceramic coating, wood dash wrap and window tinting. Can’t wait.

Just noticed from your reg you also
Picked up from Newcastle. What was the delivery experience like and state of the car … looked good?

Really straight forward, in, collect key card, check it over set it up, let them know you’re happy and sign, away you go. Had full charge in too. Wouldn’t say it was that good in terms of condition, drip marks etc but build was perfect

Got my VIN and Reg this morning by Txt! Which part of the VIN should I post in here to get the table updated?
Picked up my M3P this afternoon from Newcastle. I can echo bnesbits comments pick-up was easy but state of the car was not ideal. Build quality was perfect but lots of Swirl marks and drop marks. Also noticed a small but deep scratch on the rear bumper. To their credit they sorted it there and then as i was going straight to the detailers. Will post more photos next week when it’s back from Reep Yorkshire. Great drive and well worth the 6 month wait.

I would recommend everyone checking their paintwork, I’ve noticed quite a lot of little spots which looks like air under the lacquer? I’ve attached a few pictures for reference. It can only been seen in certain light (sun).

I’ve raised this as a service through the app and they have arranged for paint specialist to check it out.

Did you get anywhere with this as i've noticed the same spots on my black M3P, primarily on the hood. Not visible in direct sunlight but I can see them when in the shade.

Gonna hit the hood with my DA tomorrow (if it's dry), see if they're just water spots of some sort.

Picked up yesterday from Bluewater. Chuffed with the car, much better put together than my previous 2019 M3P. Bit non-plussed with the handover though. The car was parked in a dark underground carpark so difficult to check over that well. The Tesla operative whilst polite was a bit, 'any problems within 100miles or 7days, stick it on the app but don't bother me them'. At the end of the day, its just different from buying a German car and thats the way it is. As it happens, it all looks perfect or alternatively, Ive not found anything yet.... fingers crossed!! Hope all goes as well for the rest of you who are still to get theirs.

Just updated my insurance with Directline for my delivery on 28/9 - moving from a ‘21 M3LR to a ‘22 M3P has meant a refund of £14 for the remaining 9 months. Must be safer drivers the M3P lot as nothing else has changed?

Pick up mine on Friday, only minor quality issue I can spot so far is the parking sensors appear to be a slightly different shade of white to the rest of the car. Panel gaps and fit and finish inside and out all appear good.

Quick opinions compared to my 2020 model.

Happy with - Biggest plus is the wind noise around the front windows appears to be much improved, it's not noticeable at speed now, that was one of my only real gripes of the 2020 car. Not sure if it's the laminated glass or if they have improved the door seals but its so much better. The suspension seems a fraction softer which I'm happy with, it's still perfect for normal driving on road, and the suspension noise does not seem to get transmitted into the cabin as much as the older car. The redesigned centre console is better although no storage trays now so will order some. I prefer the black trim rather than the chrome but that's personal preference.

Not so happy with - Biggest disappointment is the indicated range is no more than my 2020 model (maybe even lower), I expected with a slightly larger battery and heat pump the 100% range would be higher than my 2020's current range of 300 miles (if I remember correctly it was 309 when brand new), going by pro rata the new one appears to be around 300, I was expecting around 320 plus. The kwh/mile I'm achieving appears to be similar (albeit I haven't done enough miles for an accurate comparison), certainly no noticeable improvement anyway. Hopefully the winter months will show improvements with the heat pump rather than the resistive heater. Road noise is no better but no worse, it appears much the same, still think the car could be improved quite a bit in this area although it's probably more noticeable with the 20" wheels than other models, and to be fair it is very quiet on good road surfaces, it's just there is not that many good surfaces in the UK. I haven't tested the Performance yet.

The range will improve with time as the BMS adjusts - you need a fair few 100% charges and 1000 miles+ and the range will increase, this was always the case with previous models but is even more so with the LG battery. Of course the winter months will skew any expected range so you won't see the true range until next year, unless you do a lot of miles before the winter.

With regards to these tiny milky spots that looked to be under the clearcoat - i'm glad to report they are not!

They came straight off with a light polish, unsure what they are - some contamination probably picked up on route from China. They wouldn't shift with a water spot remover but the lightest of polishes and they're gone.....thank god! I didn't fancy having to have the entire car resprayed as there were a lot of them on the bonnet and quite a few elsewhere.

Just updating the table to remove my entry. Everyone who is waiting .... its worth the wait !! (More pics to follow)

I can highly recommend Reep Yorkshire for detailing work. Not cheap but PPF , Ceramic Coating, Windows Tints and Interior Wood wrap are excellent.

Looks excellent. Did your car have any factory fitted PPF on the rear arches?

I'm thinking of getting Alcantara for the dash and door trims. I was also thinking of getting a swivel bracket for the screen, but I'm not sure about this now as I'm worried that if there are ever any screen issues it will be very easy for Tesla to pin the blame on the bracket / fitting of it!

There was no PPF fitted to the rear when I picked it up.
