Model 3 power liftgate uk

Hey, anyone done a retro fit of a model 3 power liftgate? really bugs me it wasn't even an option! I see there have been people adding it afterwards, wandered if anyone had any feedback/recommendations?

I've been thinking about fitting a power liftgate to my model 3 too, but unsure which is the best one to go for..

There is in Tesla Offer one that you linked and also the Hanshow one too which looks good also - the main difference between them seems to be that some of them connect to the CANBUS network in the car and some don't.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone has fitted one - I'd also like to know how noisy the motors are - some sound pretty noisy in videos ive seen..

Just don't park too close to anything behind you when opening the boot lid - we had a very near miss (about a cm) with a pole at a charge point and we weren't even that close to it, hence we didn't think it would be an issue. The boot lid swings out very wide.

There is a suggestion on mytesla for an official fix; MoreTesla.com . I live in hope that one day Tesla will enable an "official" upgrade.

Won't help people just now, but with the model y having an electronic gate, I would expect it to filter down to the 3.
