In response to my initial post:

Tesla replaced the antenna despite it passing all the tests and things have improved. Still nowhere near any other car I've been in however after reading the forums and chatting with other people, it would appear that thus is the design of the Tesla. It's quite unfortunate as FM just seems so basic.

My reception just sucks. This is my first complaint about the "radio". There isn't any stations that I listen to, that doesn't drop out on a regular basis.

Because of the limits of the system, I listen to many out of market stations. After the station cuts out, sometimes its 15-20 seconds before it will re-establish. Often I need to touch the, screen/station, it usually will reconnect immediately.

It's disappointing to own a car with so much state of the art technology, and a radio thats reminiscent of the 1950's.
