And seeing as the driver side doors have some battle scars, looks like they have probably needed to use that eye!

I think I want 2 tow holes. I want to make sure I protect my bumper when I ram into a car in front of me.

    Just kidding.

You're also going to need some kind of hook for the input of 1.21 gigawatts.

I think his reference was because people were speculating what that hole was for. Some were saying they don't think it's a tow hook connection but rather some sensor or another.

Quick question for anyone who has seen an RC steering wheel in person....

So I was in my wife's car a noticed a black matte surface and it's where indicator lights are. Indicator lights wouldn't count as a display. As far as we know the Model 3 steering wheel does not have indicator lights on that lower section does it?

That would be a bad spot for warning lights imo. I don't look at the lower portion of my steering wheel ever. The screen makes much more sense.

Just spotted a model 3 on a flat bed at the factory. The driver gunned it when he saw my cameras.

    Thanks Erik

Is this from the alleged BMS problems?

If it was on a flatbed due to an "issue", where would they be taking it if its leaving the factory?

We were headed the opposite direction so we don't know where he went. Perhaps he was taking it to the nearby warehouse. He was headed south, definitely not to the Service Center.

I bet its a new car they don't want to put miles on it. Likely heading to the warehouse on Kato road.

    Thanks Erik

Looks like a release candidate. There's no logo cover on the axel, and lots of dirt on the fender. Maybe its role in the circle of life is finished and it's off to the crusher.

One of my friends Paul saw this a little before I saw mine.

    Thanks Erik

I saw my first model 3 on the road today. Would you believe it was in Teslin, Yukon Territory, Canada. I didn't get a photo but it definitly was a model 3. Must be a pre production car. I assume it is getting charge at RV parks along the way. There are no Superchargers within a thousand miles of here.

Probably Release car #1 - Elons...being fitted for a trip to his estate perhaps? Why wouldn't it drive itself?

From the Motor Trend and Wired piece, looks like how air diverting is done is exactly what I mentioned. The air vents are controlled by the touch screen.
