And seeing as the driver side doors have some battle scars, looks like they have probably needed to use that eye!Better to have it there if the car gets into trouble than to put it there in the cold.

I think I want 2 tow holes. I want to make sure I protect my bumper when I ram into a car in front of me.Better to have it there if the car gets into trouble than to put it there in the cold.

or to channel a naysayer . . . you mean when autopilot rams the car in front (what do you mean I have to pay attention?)I think I want 2 tow holes. I want to make sure I protect my bumper when I ram into a car in front of me.
Just kidding.
That would be a bad spot for warning lights imo. I don't look at the lower portion of my steering wheel ever. The screen makes much more sense.Quick question for anyone who has seen an RC steering wheel in person....
So I was in my wife's car a noticed a black matte surface and it's where indicator lights are. Indicator lights wouldn't count as a display. As far as we know the Model 3 steering wheel does not have indicator lights on that lower section does it?
Is this from the alleged BMS problems?Just spotted a model 3 on a flat bed at the factory. The driver gunned it when he saw my cameras.
Thanks Erik

away from the delivery event. If it was on a flatbed due to an "issue", where would they be taking it if its leaving the factory?

I bet its a new car they don't want to put miles on it. Likely heading to the warehouse on Kato road.
Thanks Erik
Probably Release car #1 - Elons...being fitted for a trip to his estate perhaps? Why wouldn't it drive itself?Just spotted a model 3 on a flat bed at the factory. The driver gunned it when he saw my cameras.

Electronically adjustable through touch screen (similar to sunroof in the Model S)?
From the Motor Trend and Wired piece, looks like how air diverting is done is exactly what I mentioned. The air vents are controlled by the touch screen.I agree it's unlikely, but not impossible. They have electronic vent controls already for diverting air (outside/recirculate, foot vents, face vents, windshield vents), so it's not out of the realm of possibility to make the output vent electronically controlled also.
