Well, the baby won't be riding in the chauffeured car. It'll be riding separately in the nanny's ten year-old Toyota Corolla. This would make a pretty awkward angle for a baby in a rear facing car seat....

If you can't afford to buy a luxury car for your nanny to drive your kids around, then you don't really belong in a LucidWell, the baby won't be riding in the chauffeured car. It'll be riding separately in the nanny's ten year-old Toyota Corolla.

Why did they have to put the ugly wheels on the white one?
That middle seat sure looks uncomfortable.Who said anything about 'mystical'? Here is what Lucid Air is making for the luxury Asian market:
Looks a lot more like a Model 3 than any German 'luxury' car.
Thank you kindly.
Kind of off topic, but I finally found what the base wheels remind me of. The ones on the C5 Z06. Looks fine IMO.Why did they have to put the ugly wheels on the white one?
They're RC's. They're meant to get banged up. They'll be taken and crushed shortly after the main production versions anyways, so denting it is the least of their worries. Can you imagine being the guy who put a dent in one of just a handful of RCs in the world?
And I love those wheels. I hope Tesla makes a wheel like that for the S and X.
At 1945PST I was northbound on the 280 at Arastradero Road and I noticed what I assumed was a white Model S ahead of me in the far right lane, I think it had just merged onto the freeway. Then its brake lights flashed for a moment and I realized it was not an S but a Model 3. I came along side and my wife took photos. She got the attention of the driver -- a young guy -- and gave him a thumbs up: he smiled and gave her a thumbs up in return. He exited a few minutes later at Alpine Road. We were very excited to see it! The Model 3 is a beautiful car and Tesla is not going to be able to keep up with demand for years to come.
And yes there is a dent in the body just below the door on the drivers side.

Elon disagrees:Really interesting, thanks. However, it does repeat the very common media mistake of saying Mr Musk "launched" Tesla Motors. He did not. He came in, funded and took over a company that had already been launched, but was not likely to survive. He enabled Tesla Motors. His vision and drive were keys to its succcess. But he did not launch it.

Well, yes. He feels strongly about this. He even sued one of the actual founders over the meaning of the word "founder."Elon disagrees:

That dent is the result of surviving the crash test. M3 has force shield, spaceship tech inside and outAnd yes there is a dent in the body just below the door on the drivers side.

Except that the car's going to ship with the aero covers on them.Kind of off topic, but I finally found what the base wheels remind me of. The ones on the C5 Z06. Looks fine IMO.
I wouldn't mind getting a free set of aero covers for use when I travel.Except that the car's going to ship with the aero covers on them.
