Having R-N-D-A on one monostable (returns to home) stalk is the best way it could be done. Push up for Reverse. Push down for Drive. Push down twice (or push down hard or push and hold) for A (Autopilot), push button for Park. Also push left button for swipe and push hard (or push and hold) for wash. Most likely Push and hold P for emergency brake.

Actually, these stalks are similar to Model S and X - i.e. they are sourced from Mercedes.

You are probably right. I was trying not to get too graphic about their likely fates.

Prompts interesting thought: how much less complex is LHD to RHD conversion with no instrument cluster and center screen? I'll bet reduces 50%+ of cabin complexity.

Yes and Yes. There is a thin light right above the camera on all 3 vehicles.

Chronologically and technically speaking, the turn signal housing has a camera integrated into it. ;-).

If it is indeed for a promo shoot, that's a strong suggestion that the aero covers are stock.

I've not seen M3 stalks on Mercs (or any other vehicle). And I see no similarities between S/X and M3 stalks.
