Model 3 Registration Help

Hi, I bought an inventory car back in March and therefore it was considered used. Recently received the registration/ tags and they are only good until Oct of this year. This is one year from the original sale of the car but I technically am not the first owner. But when reviewing my sales contract it says I paid about $520 total in license and registration fees. (California) This number seems too high to prorated and when I contact Tesla I keep getting the run around. Anyone have and experience with this?

I Tried this already and the total comes up to $516. But that's for a full year, yet the registration I received is only valid for 8 months.
