I picked up my Model 3 six days ago in Calgary. Yesterday my father, my two boys and I flew to Victoria then drove a rental vehicle to Port Renfrew for a couple of days of halibut and salmon fishing. The trip is a present from me to my dad, who lives to fish but has never fished for salmon or halibut before, for his 70th birthday. On the road from Sooke to Port Renfrew I was thinking "I sure wish I was driving my Tesla on this amazing road rather than this piece of ______ Grand Cherokee".
Well, today as we got off the boat and started walking to our cabin, what should I see but a shiny new white Tesla Model 3! Somebody had the good sense to take their new car on an awesome road trip! I've only managed to drive boring prairie roads in mine. Now I'm jealous!
