Model 3 spotted in Indianapolis

Stopped by Indy Sc and spotted a model 3 on an unloading transport. I’ve been watching then unload and it looks like this model 3 may just be passing through. But at least someone somewhere is getting a new toy.

I talked to a Tesla employee while I was taking pictures of the model 3 and that did say that the first model 3 owner delivery in Indy is expected within a few days.

I noticed last night I have an assigned VIN, and I thought for a brief moment that might be my car. I ordered the midnight silver metallic with 19” wheels a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately the car stayed on the truck; they didn’t unload it. I’m hoping to have my car in the next week or so.

Interestingly, I have the same configuration midnight silver model 3 with 19" wheels coming to Indy as well. Got my VIN last week and spoke with DS who said it would be ready for delivery within a couple of weeks.

Scheduled delivery today for next Saturday, 17 February. To recap, current owner, reserved in store 3/31/16, configured 1/19/18, VIN assigned 2/2/18, delivery scheduled for 2/17/18.

Picking mine up on 2/21; we'll miss each other by a few days. Look for mine in there, it looks exactly like yours . What part of Indy do you live in?

I saw three new Model 3s in the delivery center in Indy on Sunday, Feb 11.
