Model 3 SR+ 20”

Hi does anyone know what impact on mileage per full charge I’ll lose if I put 20” rims and tires on my model SR+.

Someone from Tesla should be able to tell you. I bought a Model 3 LR in September of last year. At that time I was told by someone at the Tesla Showroom in Dedham, MA that the range with 18 inch wheels was 323 miles and with 19 inch wheels it was 310. I love the look of the 19 inch wheels so I went with them. So far, after 5300 miles of driving, my range appears to be right around 310 miles.

Just change your computer to the 20" wheel size. The battery range will update with the new size.

I just use the normal mode, not the mode for slower acceleration, whatever it's called

On my old Mid-Range I averaged 260wh/mile. I think that puts you right at about 240 miles when the car is new. I was at 46k miles when I sold it and my total range was about 236 with the 20" P3 wheels.

switched to 20" from 18" and my range took a drastic hit on my 2021 LR - but you know exactly what you're getting into when you make the swap
