I know this has been talked about before but the difference in the amount of active cooling needed for the 3 vs the S and X during supercharging is crazy. S and X fans are just wailing wide open every time i've been at a SC and you can barely hear the 3 doing anything. I guess there really is a significant change in chemistry between the 2 types of batteries and make me wonder how fast the 3 will be able to soak up power with the next gen superchargers.

Were in HOT Phoenix and the fans seem to run on our Model S and 3. Both seem very good and can handle the heat fine. It seems with the air cond on if we are just getting a short SC the fans go crazy on a HOT day. I hope all Super Charger locations in the South get Solar PV shade and large batteries to cover the peak charging .
