Model 3 tire questions

1. Based on Model 3 specs, it comes with tire low pressure monitoring sensors. Do these sensors get affected/disabled if the factory-fitted tires are replaced with custom ones? Where are these sensors located?

2. Is Model 3 fitted with noise reduction tires? If so, I would assume this benefit is negated if custom tires are used correct?

Aren’t all modern TPMS sensors attached to the valve stem? I’m also pretty sure most new cars automatically detect the sensors when the tire is installed. Putting on non-OEM tires should be no different than replacing the tires with another OEM set. The TPMS sensor is removed from the old tire and attached to the new one, should be as simple as that.

As for the OEM tires it looks like this guide at Tsportline has all the info you need: The Tesla Model 3 Wheel and Tire Guide

Looks like the stock 18” tires are Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires. Here’s the tire description from TireRack: https://m.tirerack.com/tires/description.jsp?tireMake=Michelin&tireModel=Primacy+MXM4
