Any thoughts on Toyo Celsius all weather? I live in New Hampshire on a dirt road. Was planning on the Cross Climate 2, but was told that the Toyo's were quiter and better in the winter than the CC2.

Is anyone running this size tire 255/35/20 over the stock 235/35/20. I am looking at putting on Michelin pilot sport 4s.I am sure the tires will save the rims from curb rash but will take a hit on mileage / efficiency. Are 255's too wide and is clearance a known issue?

And does anyone have experience running run-flat tires?

I have a set of 19x9.5 et34 wrapped in Conti DWS06 255/40's being mounted next week. Will report if I have any rubbing if anyone wants to wait and find out. I am in the same exact boat as @SirLaz. Dont want to sacrifice too much efficiency but want the extra sidewall protection.

Good point. The DWS06 plus are significantly smaller in terms of width than the PS4S, so it will be interesting to see how the fit is. Crazy because I am on the OEM 235/35/20 PS4S right now and going to a 255/35/19 DWS06 plus actually has a smaller tread width, so in theory should have better range but not sure if its work exactly like that.

Ouch yea that is quite the hit on efficiency. I am coming from the OEM 20" P wheels and PS4s (about 295 wh/mi lifetime with 10k miles) so I hoping for a similar efficiency with this new setup. A different tire might honestly make the road noise and efficiency better, those A/S3+ are pretty heavy as well as wide. You could drop down to a 255/35 or even 245/40 if you don't mind the stretch. Might save some headache of trying to sell your setup and get new. I've heard good things about the DWS06 plus and may also suggest looking into the Falken FK510 if you are fine with a budget summer tire. Both have significantly smaller tread width which from what I have gathered makes a big difference with efficiency as well as how much the setup affects the aerodynamics of the car so limiting the poke would yield more range I assume.

But I feel you on getting a smaller wheel, I ideally wanted 19x9 so I could fit a 245/40 without stretch but was impatient and didn't want to wait for them to get back in stock. There are also plenty of 19x8.5 or 18x8.5 options that you can use with the OEM size tires which shouldn't impact range, might actually improve it if you have significant enough weight reduction.

I will post my setup once I get it squared away!

I'm definitely considering going down to 245/40/19 tires. Some Michelin tires in that size have section and tread widths that are 0.9" and 1.5" less than that of the 265/35/19 A/S3+.

So from what I've seen on the Michelin website, am I correct in assuming only the stock size 235/25/20 (2021 M3P) is available in T0 configuration?

Hey everyone I own a 2021 Tesla Model 3 and I manage a Discount Tire store (16 years Experience) I have read mixed reviews, concerns, and comments about what setup is good for 20 inch. I know there is a ton of knowledge and experience with Tesla’s here but I thought I would share my set up if it helps anyone l. I am running the T Sportline 20x8.5 offset +35 square set up on tire size 255/35R20 Michelin 4S. There is absolutely no rubbing, hitting, or grinding. The Michelin 4s are a little noisier than my original 235/45R18 Michelin Primacy but very smooth and of course sticky! I’m thinking about running a quarter inch spacer in the rear and MAYBE going with the .75 lowering springs from T Sportline. I just hate messing with originally suspension because it’s never as smooth as a ride as before.

Looking for some feedback. I just picked up some 19x9.5 Titan 7 T-S5s and am debating on what size tire to put on.

I'm between 265/35, 255/40 and 255/35 right now. Looking to get optimal comfort and least amount of range reduction as possible. Anyone have an idea what the difference in range impact is between the 255 and 265 tires? I don't mind running the wider tire if range impact is around 5% difference. I am coming from the OEM 2020 20" performance wheels with OEM PS4s.

I am leaning towards 255/40 at the moment since this will give me more sidewall for protection and comfort, but worried that these will rub. I am at stock height.

Any experience would be helpful, thanks!

I’m running 255/35R20 Michelin 4S zero issues. I will let you know because I’m going to test fit a 255/40R20 tomorrow.

That’s definitely a good question! The best that I have seen is Gorilla Automotive locks. Not the locks with a hallowed out center because those will strip out eventually!

Got 32K out of the Michelins, since I get to work from home 90% of the time now and will do less driving, I decided to give the Yokohama Advan Apex V601 XL a shot. Went with the 235/35R-20s. With an $80 rebate from Yokohama they ended up being almost $400 cheaper than if I went with the OEM Michelins. The Yokohama only have a 25,000 mile treadware warranty compared to 30,000 miles on the Michelins but the price difference and less driving on my part made me choose the Yokohama. We'll see how they go.

OP: My 2021 came with 235/35/20 PZeros, and they look stretched. How were your Michelins (I am assuming PS4S)? Were the side walls more square, or did they also look stretched?

‘20 M3Ps come with 20”x8.5” rims. So, no they don’t look stretched. ‘21s come with 20”x9,” IIRC.

The time is approaching for new tires. Car has the original PILOT SPORT 4S AC 235 /35 R20. Anything new or better out there? I have no complaints about the tire but wanted to see what others are getting.

I saw somewhere that the 2021 rims are 9" also, but now I can't find where I saw that. Making things even more confusing, my 2021 owners manual says the wheels are 8.5" wide.

I went through a couple pages and just seeking advice. I will be getting my m3p in the next few weeks and they obviously have the 20” uberturbines. I will be swapping the tires for all seasons as I’m in Chicago. Am I reading that I could go 245-35-20 so that would open up a much wider selection of tires? Do I need to have a Tesla approved tire? Just trying to figure out if I stick with uberturbines or if I sell the wheels and tires altogether and get a different set (likely would go 19s). Thanks for your input!
