Model 3 Totaled or Repairable?

Unfortunately I got into an accident where someone side swiped me with a trailer. Thank god I'm fine and didn't walk away with any injuries. Just gathering some opinions on here to see if you think it's going to be totaled or is repairable? Airbags didnt deploy in the accident and It's a 2021 SR+ Model 3. From what I can tell that front fender will need to be replaced along with the headlight since it's cracked. Not sure about the scratches/dents on the rear.

Not even close to totaled. Someone backed into my M3 2 months ago. The collision center's initial estimate was $8200, but then they determined that my front left fender panel needed to be replaced so now the estimate is closer to $10,000, but still not totaled. In fact, other than the autopilot not working, the car was still very drivable. They say I'll be getting it back at the end of this week...after 47 days in the shop. The collision center had to order 28 different replacement parts including that fender, a new headlight, new frunk lid, new latch for frunk lid, new front bumper, 2 new crash cans for behind the bumper, and so on. The collision center had the car for 8 working days before they ordered the parts on 11/11. The last of the parts were delivered around 12/4. So, be patient. BTW, that headlight assembly alone costs well over $900. I hope the other guy was insured.

Front end damage will probably be $4000, because the headlight is a $1000 part by itself. Not really sure on the rear damage, it could be cheap, but it also depends on if/the extent of which the door jam is damaged, or the edge of the door. Could be a few thousand, could be a bunch of thousands, it really depends on the specifics of that. Either way, nowhere close to being totaled.

My LR AWD got hit by a rock slide. Took out similar to yours plus both passenger side doors and the passenger front rim. It was $4500 and insurance didn’t total it out. It’s currently in the jody shop.

I’m saying no way they total unless there is some major unseen structural damage

Best keep a close eye on Jody! 😁
Haha. Auto fill…. Here are some pictures. The rocks got the entire passenger side, front, hood, and driver side front quarter panel. Fortunately didn’t hit any glass.
