Model 3 traction control fault

I put new tires on my car yesterday and now my car will not exceed 40 mph due to traction control cutting power.

Does anyone else have an issue like this? i got a diagnostic ran and there’s no issue with the wheel sensors or anything else like that along with an alignment for the tread.

Please let me know if anyone had an ideas to fix it. (tried rebooting millions of times already).

Do you have the actual messages as shown in your log?

If your tires are all the same diameter (all new...), you might try changing the wheel configuration of your car. That reset more things than just a reboot. Once that restarts, you can choose your original wheels again and wait for another reset.

no messages thrown in the log, only the traction control symbol when i’m going 30-40ish mph than it cuts power all the way to 25 mph. making the car nearly undriveable. recently i had a flat tire in the (passenger side) rear and i bought a new tire to go along with it.

People reported similar when they swap only one tire. Speculation is traction control complaining due to tire diameter mismatch between the two wheels (one worn and one not). The issue fixed itself after driving a while.
New Tires...No Regen (Not Winter Tires)

Not sure if this still works in the new cars (not sure if TPMS reset is still an option in the new UI, option to change wheel configuration should be in same menu, which you can also try toggling to see if it triggers any change). But if you can't find that, at the very least try the suggestion to drive the car above 25mph for at least 5 minutes (it can take up to 20 minutes) for the autolearning to happen. The error should clear itself after autolearning finishes. If that doesn't work, contacting service may be the only option.
