I know a bunch of us were waiting for this. Amazing.

Yeah but is it a Tempurpedic?
I guess now we'll also need a new thread to ask which mattresses are best for the Model 3?
Best mattresses for Model S
Also 126 MPGe combined according to the photos. Wow.
I'm waiting for a custom foam model 3 molded one.
The back headrests didn't look foldable, but somehow it doesn't seem to get in the way of folding the seats flat. Curious how that works.
You just deflate them.
So the fuel cost savings is ~75% vs BMW 3-Series? Am I thinking about this right?
Why would anyone buy a 3-series again?!
There was a thread with a pic of the back headrests folded, with a comment that it was nice to be able to get them out of the driver's way... so I suspect they do. Not sure if seat or rear-decklid mounted though.
EDIT: Not on the decklid: Back Window Pic. Man they sure don't look foldable.
On the S you just have to make sure the front seats are far forward enough for the swing. You can usually put them back a bit again after folding since the backrest tends to be angled (depending on the seatee).
What does that translate to in terms of wH per mile?
Probably just the rear center headrest can lower/raise, for visibility
WOW. The trunk space is much better than I thought it would be.
Question to current Tesla owners, do you still use the rear view mirror for rear visibility? or do you use the rear view camera? or a mixture?
Because the S is a hatchback, the rear window is too small to be of much use.
Mirror, camera as secondary.
Cool, if only it was a hatchback...
Wait, if the glass roof prevented a hatchback, why can the car have a hatchback if you get the metal roof?
It isn't the option, front, glass roof that prevents it, it is the overly large rear glass that prevents it. (And gives the ample rear headroom.)
For me, always have the rear view camera image at the top of the center display, mirror is secondary.
Model 3 trunk access looks great for a non-hatchback vehicle.
I've never owned a sedan, so it just looks like a weird little tunnel to me.
As long as a bike fits I'm good.
