I find that interesting. I don’t get the noise issue with the trunk, if anything mine is fairly heavy and shuts with a solid bang.

Mine was massively improved by a a mobile service engineer (while fixing another trim issue). Took off the liner below around the catch the the boot lids clicks into. Moved the catch down a few millimetres and now the boot goes clunk rather than clank. Definitely worth playing around with. It doesn’t have to sound like a rental Fiat Panda that’s had a few hard summers
