I have a March 2020 build and it does not have C, so if it happened it must have JUST happened.

Hmmmm .... my 2020 has no USB-C in the rear dome light area. Euro spec? Seems retarded to have ports in the ceiling. Any cables hanging down from there would certainly annoy the driver looking in the rear-view mirror.

Mine has the apertures next to the lights, 2 week old M3P, UK spec.

I'll admit my first thought was " what a wired place to put usb c ports...."

Can confirm it does also have the interior camera. I shall report back tomorrow...

@TraumaDoc I'm not sure where you looked at, but zooming into the video, they really look like USB-C. That would be cool, but at the same time, indeed, a very weird place to locate them.

It’s for the cabin security alarm. Required in some jurisdictions.

it was an add on option in the US for the S & X fir a while. Not sure if it is still there with the focus on sentry now.

Without interior sensors, Sentry is basically pointless for all but the most bullish breakins. There are tons of videos of people reaching into open cars, banging on windows, etc. without the alarm being triggered. If Tesla offers this is a retrofit to add interior sensors for the alarm, that would be lovely.

I recall reading that the interior camera would be enabled and added to sentry in a future FW update.

Yeah, could be foreign spec, although that is NOT a good idea as you would have cables hanging from the ceiling!
