Where did you get your MVPA? I see only 3 documents on my account:

• Order Agreement
• Lemon Law Disclosure
• Lending Agreement

My VIN is in today too. White/White LR AWD 19” wheels no FSD. Buena Park. MVPA in as well. It’s happening!! Ordered 10/23

that's great! that's the exact config but with FSD also in buena park. i checked source code. it looks like i have vin too. but i ran it through the decode, one of the characters is not lining up. still no mvpa. maybe mine is just fresh of the assembly line taking its first breath.

it's showing up next to "showDetailsInSelfInsuranceForm":"true", "vin":"5YJ3E1EBXLF..." but in another area it still says "vin":"null". is it not fully complete yet? also, i added the charger for purchase and it still says vin not assigned at checkout. should i get excited? haha


i ran the vin at VIN Recall Search | Tesla Service

it does say Make: Tesla, Model:Model 3 General Production 2020, Year: 2020

I just spoke with my DS via email and he confirmed the reason why I see the VIN just like you are is that the vehicle is still in preproduction and once the vehicle is in transit, the VIN will be confirmed.

ooooh, preproduction. so how long does it take to build? a day? you think it's still possible for a christmas eve delivery?


i found out how long it takes for a model 3 to be built... 48 seconds. wow they are fast

Just got back from Tesla to see if they are able to see a little more from their end. Made a reservation last night and they said it is showing a Jan 6 delivery date. Boo, was hoping to get that tax credit

Called the DC last night after VIN appeared in source earlier this week. SA was able to squeeze me in for delivery tonight at the Burbank site. The wait is almost over!

I had to call in to get it into my account. Once they did it, I was able to print it to get my CU to get the loan finalized and get the final payment check for Tesla.

Update: as of today afternoon I got a call from delivery center in Buena Park to inform that the cars would come late so it’s likely I cannot pick up my car as scheduled. Estimated delivery date postponed to Monday morning.

Ha, quite a range. I looked for the first time tonight and saw the vin in two places. Fingers crossed we’re good. Our schedule gets tough for delivery after the 27th. I hear the white interior seems to be a common hold up.

Got my VIN. Delivery date 12/27. Not quite in time for Christmas but...after a lot of waiting it's good to have the end in sight.
