Model 3 waiters in California - please post here

Ordered mine on 10/12 and got a text this afternoon:

Update on your delivery timing: We expect your Model 3 to exit the factory and arrive at your delivery center between 11/22 and 11/30. Please look out for further communication when it is time to schedule your delivery appointment.

Ordered 10/12, LR/AWD, 18" Aero wheels, White/Black. No VIN and no updates. Costa Mesa, CA delivery location.

Sales people have no Model 3 cars to deliver so little to do, so they invited all those waiting for their cars to a rah! rah! party and Q&A session 2 weeks ago and told us no cars until the last 2 weeks of December. Oh! Great. California reduces it's EV incentive by $500 beginning in December. That's assuming an incentive will even be available by the end of the month. My rental car, which I thought would last about 2 weeks when I first ordered, will now have to go for 2 months, at least.

Apparently Tesla is addressing the concerns of a mad rush in December for California. You local SA will now be your Delivery Specialist, and there will be several more "low-key" delivery centers around the state.

e.g. For Marin County, the San Rafael Service Center will be a delivery option, and your SA will meet you there to complete documents and do delivery.

Note - this hasn't been implanted yet, so if you are expecting a delivery in the next few weeks your closest DC might not be available yet.

See, how do you know this stuff?

This is good news! I hope I can pickup in Rancho Cucamonga instead of Costa Mesa.

Put in my order 2 weeks ago, pick up in Fremont, CA.

My guess is I'll be one of the last deliveries of the year which is fine by me, as long as I make the cut for tax credit.

Took a test drive a few days after putting the order in, better than I expected!
Going to be the most expensive car payment of my lifetime, but excited for a great 2020 with my first EV - been dreaming of this day since the late 80s - the future is finally here
