Our job here at GetYourWheels is not only to sell wheels and tires but to also calculate the best fitment possible for cars out in the market. Today, we had the opportunity to work closely with a Tesla Model 3 owner who came by on his day off. As soon as he arrived and gave him the tour of the facility, we got right into work.

She was a tad dirty but she is pretty!

In case anyone wants to know what it looks like without the covers.

Front wheels off and the big caliper is smaller than the Model S so we can think many various wheel brands that will be able to fit over these. Also, if anyone decides to get a nice set of 3 piece forged set from Avant Garde, I can see some nice lip sizes being pulled off.

But we can't judge the size of the brake just by looking at it so we also measured that front caliper to ensure that other wheels that are asked about can fit without any issues. Also, it'll be technical info that we can use with many other manufacturers so that we can get the wheels built on the first time.

After that, we did some quick test fits with a set of Avant Garde M580 we had in stock in the 20" size.

Then, we decided to take it one step further and mounted a set of extra tires we had just to see everything put together and we believe we got the fitment down on point!

I was going to say. No specifics whatsoever.
Everyone still has the mentality of having huge ass wheels whenever they can. Regardless of the application.

Due to the design of the car, I think having 18's is ideal. Smaller and the proportions of the body will look massive riding around on smallish wheels with alot of rubber. If 17's do fit, that'll probably be best for the people who live North of Cali.

Having 18's that are lighter than the OEM's while still offering the aero benefit would be greatly appreciated. Leave the massive wheels to the posers and for those who just want to ruin the ride of your vehicle.

Thanks! Do you happen to have a photo looking straight down one of the sides of the car? I'm curious if these wheels stick out from the fenders at all, or how far they are tucked in.

Do you know the offsets for these wheels? I couldn't find that information on Avant Garde's website.

Tried to grab a nice straight down shot but it wasn't coming out right but definitely on the slightly tucked in side. 5mm would have had the wheels rim edge on the fender.

Checked the website, 5x114.3 are only available in
20x10 +43
20x8 +35
Unless custom sizes are available?

Someone did a little simple research :D

Front wheels will actually be 20X8.5.

Custom offsets are available to cater to everyone's fitment needs. But we are also limited by the front brake size but there is room to bring the wheels in another couple mm

I just want to know if 265/40R18 on 18x9.5 wheels (+40 offset) front and back will fit though I'm sure someone will find out before I get my Model 3.

Depending on the wheel. If the inner diameter of the 18" has enough to room to clear the lower suspension arm and the design of the wheel has ample room to clear the brakes. It'll have to be a virtually flat faced wheel design with a thick enough back pad.
