Model S 2014 - Takes longer than usual to charge at the Supercharger

Hi, I was wondering why my model s 85 takes 2 hours to charge 100% at the supercharger, when it usually takes 1 hour and 15min to charge. By the way, it started to happen in 2019.

I wonder if it was the software update in 2019 or if it's something else.

Yes, firmware updates over the past couple of years have dramatically slowed supercharging for most 85kwh batteries. Unfortunately there's not really anything you can do about it, and Tesla has been less than transparent as to why.

Tesla crippled you. It's basically the same thing apple got caught doing. If you ask your service center to fix it they will tell you to buy a new tesla.

Why are you charging to 100%? It's much faster to charge to 90%-95% if you need the miles.
