Tesla : S PERFORMANCE in Tesla | eBay Motors Currently has a bid at $100K, which has not met the reserve. I checked this combo on the Design Studio and it comes out to $105,020, excluding the tax credit, at current prices. So the equivalent cost after the tax credit is $97,570. The original owner also has $9,451 of tax into the car, so the original owner's breakeven is about $107,000, assuming he/she got the tax credit. So there is a premium here in the $100K bid compared to the effective cost of $97,570 for someone who orders today. But it remains to be seen whether the bid will get up to the original owner's breakeven.
