Hello Everyone, I recently got a Model 2016 S 75 with 21inch wheels.
when I use the teslascan app I see the usable kWh is 62kwh not 72.xkwh
Total usable is 66kwh, not 75kwh.
Can anyone get me clarity on this?
Also, I monitored my battery cells, they charge all the way upto 4.2V.
Does this mean my battery not capped?

Thank you Guys for the reply. But I get around 150 real road miles on full charge. Fully charged shows 225miles on dashboard.
Yes, “your mileage may vary”.

21” wheels are about a 10% range penalty. Your driving style and conditions can certainly turn 225 rated miles into 150. What is your reported wh/mi on such a trip (a single continuous trip that is, 150 miles over a few days doesn’t count).

The Model S 75 does not have a 75kWh battery (the same way model 85 does not have a 85kWh).
Please see this article for a reference Tesla’s hacked Battery Management System exposes the real usable capacity of its battery packs - Electrek

The model 75 has 72.6 kWh usable capacity when NEW.

In your screenshot it says nominal full pack 66kWh, including 4kWh buffer. Even though it is not that straightforward, you have approx. 9% degradation which seems quite normal in 4 years, pending actual usage and miles. See more information from here.
