Try setting it to 80 or 90 degrees. 22 degrees is below freezing so I don't know why you would think it would heat at that setting nor do I know how you got it to go so low. Ours wont let us set it to below 60 degrees.

We use Celsius in Canada.

I am having the same issue more so when the outside temperature is more equal to inside.
