Model S and télépéage tags

I've fitted a French péage tag to my 2016 MS70D but it only works when it's waved through an open window. The windscreen is a 3rd party replacement. There are no dotted areas on the screen border where you're advised to mount it. Any ideas?

I confirm I have found the only option in my Model S is waving it out the window.

I confirm I have found the only option in my Model S is waving it out the window.

In Spain, our first go needed attendant assistance. Subsequent times it worked from inside with the window closed.
