Shorty, call the Toronto Tesla Office. They are arranging all the Delivery Event appts. I specifically spoke with Jon:

What is your sequence number? They are calling people roughly in the order of reservations, and I believe only Signature reservation are being handled before year end.

Just confirmed my pickup for 9AM on Thursday the 20th in Vancouver. Thinking of pulling the kids from school so they can enjoy the experience. So I will get to meet Vjer! And the mysterious Hans whose name keeps being dropped by Canadian Telsa-holics on a regular basis. Winter tires in YVR are still not confirmed for me, but they will have rims for me anyway .

Definitely the Tesla Canada folks are doing their absolute best to manage a fairly complex set of logistics. From what I recall they are delivering 35+ in YVR, 50+ in Toronto,and 40+ in Montreal (I think) -- anyway, a very significant #, in a matter of days, just before Christmas. I still don't precisely know many details of how I pay, license, insure, etc -- but hey, there's still 6 days

One clarification (I asked): You will be able to pay by bank draft, certified cheque, or wire. Details on all this stuff will come with the final paperwork, which we all should see via email very soon.

Might have been wishfull thinking but I thought I saw a truck with about 8 TMS today on the Highway 13 heading north (Laval) crossing the 40 (I was on the 40 as it passed by... they were white, red and black. for whatever it's worth. Couldn't follow the truck as I had passed the exit for the 13.

Hopefully you saw right. I mean of they are to deliver cars Friday they will probably need to send them days in advance to get ready.

I don't know if anyone else is in the same boat. I responded to the delivery email we received but apparently Tesla never got it. If you responded to the email but haven't heard from them yet it is best to give them a call.

I'd second that -- in Canada anyway don't be afraid to give Jon a call if you're still waiting, or email him directly.

With approx 150 deliveries, assuming 15-30 minutes per call that's 38-75 hours on the phone.

I responded to the delivery email we received but apparently Tesla never got it. If you responded to the email but haven't heard from them yet it is best to give them a call.

If they are having email receipt issues I'd be getting on top of that as it's a better way to reach a broader audience. I never received a response from the RSVP for the delivery event which is why I followed up via telephone then again in person when dropping off the financing application. With opportunity for efficiency in the delivery process hopefully they will take time to have a retrospective to understand what went well, what could have gone better and how they can evolve things a bit ahead of the production run. Success, after all, is heavily dependent on the execution in this industry.

I asked Jon about paperwork and he said we should have it by end of day on Monday.
He also confirmed they deduct the rebate and it's after tax.

End of day Monday will make it a tight turnaround for Thursday morning pickup. Time to clear off Tuesday's schedule for some errand running (bank/insurance/etc).

Montreal deliveries will be happening the 20-22 of Dec. Some folks here have received a phone call instead of an email. Still waiting for an address. Came back home today via boul. Chomedey just ot see if I'd see a Tesla sign somewhere but didn't. Zhino mentioned that the TM service center will be a former dealer building in Laval...

So it looks like there will be approx 150 deliveries next week? If there are 200 sigs, will there be 50 more delivered the week after or will it be in 2013?

I think there were only about 170. Probably the balance will be personal deliveries for people who didn't want the personal delivery or are too far away.

thanks zhino, I was there yesterday but thought the dealer spot was on Chomedey so didn't really pay attention when on Des Laurentides

I thought that outof the 200 Can Sig spots, TM gave about 50 to US because not enough Can takers.

When do you have to make the final payment for a Canadian Signature home delivery? Before it is delivered? A few days before delivery? At delivery?

I received similar instructions. As with other car companies they will want a certified cheque, bank draft or wire transfer at the time of pickup.
