There are (and will be more) curbside chargers for spots that require parallel parking installed in cities, kind of like parking meters.

Here's link with several curbside charging locations in Florida. About half of which are street parallel parking spots.

I'm not sure about Florida, but there is certainly curbside charging in residential neighborhoods within some cities. It's less expected in suburbs where people are more likely to own homes with garages. But not everyone lives in the suburbs nor in a house. Not everyone lives in the US. Already on this forum we have two people that have or have to come up with their own solution for curbside charging where they live.
