Quite a bit back I was considering:

That's really cool, but on the road I would have never, ever gotten it.

Nor I, but clever. I suspect most won't get it either, especially on the move.

If I were to get that plate, I suspect the only people who'd "get it" quickly would be driving in front of me, given that VA requires front license plates. I'm leaning slightly toward "too clever to be worth it" though.

Hehe... here in VA my wife had "3DN0LB" as a plate on her Mercedes. The friends/folks who saw it it parked rarely got it... I dunno how many who I never got a chance to talk to driving in front of her did...

I haven't decided yet whether I even want a vanity plate and/or a Clean Special Fuel plate. (P85 to be delivered around September 6.)

You can have a vanity clean special fuel plate in VA. I think it's 6 characters max instead of 7. The new CSF tags are basically useless these days with respect to HOV, etc.

As I understand it, the CSF tags are still good on the Dulles Toll Road (267), although I'm rarely on it during rush hour, and they're still good in Hampton Roads (64/264), where I've only ever been once in the 19 years I've lived near DC. No mention of the 495 express lanes, which I'm guessing means no good.

Also, the Clean Fuel graphic is in the center of the newest plate, so it would break up my mirror image idea: [ ZAJ <> Z3T ] ...and yes it's only 6 characters max.

Yup, that was in the "CON" column.

I was surprised that I was able to get "TESLA J" just 2 months ago in California. Still waiting for the plates, though.
