We'll disagree on this one. It'd be slightly unusual to be frugal for decades and then somehow blow $150K on a car that was no faster than the $110K one. Either way, it's all theoretical.

In my case it's true- I don't spend much money on clothes / cigarettes / alcohol / electricity / disposables.
Buy once, buy right, save the money for true pleasures

I know it was a "Plaid" event, but it was disappointing to me that we heard nothing about the standard (Long Range) S and why it had been delayed, how it is different (Are the batteries the same type), is the steering variable ratio on both, etc. etc.. No comment about non-Plaid deliveries. Really an uninformative presentation.

I enjoyed it very much. It was great seeing all those steering yokes and interior design changes. I know LR X will be later in the cycle, but it is great seeing the deliveries finally get started.

I wasn’t lucky enough to get my car at the event. But they did give attendees hats and posters. I’m having our two framed. Will get a third one for the pictures I took of my son with/near Elon and Franz. This is a preview from the frame shop.
